Southern Valley Urban Interface Trails Project

Picture
Building on the work of Southern Valley Trails Report (2010), in 2014 I was the city staff person assigned to working with a committee of trail users to create a proposal for the Southern Valley Urban Interface Trails Project.
The proposal brought together representatives from the horseback riding, mountain biking, skiing, fat biking, snowmobile and ATV communities to design a conceptual summer and winter trail plan for the Mike Harris campground area of Caribou-Targhee National Forest.
I was the project manager for the City for this project and worked with the Mayor and Councilman A.J. Linnell, the Forest Service, the trail user committee, and the Teton Area Advisory Forum on the proposal.
